[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] No Slideshow, just simple Thumbnails

hi everyone,

I am desperately trying to get nextgen gallery to work with a new, simple enough theme (“merdeka”), but I can’t get it to work. It all works superbly with good old kubrick, but whenever i switch to the new theme, the slideshow is gone and I see only a loooong column of thumbnails that i can enlarge one by one.

you can see it here and ANY help at all would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
