[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Nextgen Gallery not displaying in admin

When adding a new gallery, it is not displayed in the admin section. When navigating to the gallery folder on the server, the newly created gallery is there, but I can not access it through the admin section – so i can not upload images to that specific gallery.
Any takers?
