[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] NextGen Causes Blank White Screen- Please Help!

  • Hello, I have wordpress 3.04 and have been using NextGen for awhile now. Today, all of a sudden this plugin is causing me to get the blank white page when I try to visit my WordPress Admin page. When I disable the plugin via FTP my Admin page comes back. Then when I try to activate the NextGen plugin again I get the following error message:

    “The plugin generated 1 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

    Can somebody please help me figure out why the plugin is causing this to happen? I love this plugin and have a ton of albums in there.

    Any help is much appreciated!

  • I am having the same “blank page” problem.

    So I know, to deactivate via FTP, can I just delete the plugin folder, or is there more to it than that?

    I have no interest in re-installing it, I only want this troublemaker GONE! Because it is a client site, I might not be able to get to the files by FTP. Any idea if there is another way I could remove/deactivate it?
