    Hi
Im having trouble with the “Add NextGen gallery” button in both my posts and pages. Thing is that when I press it I get the little javascript window up but when I want to choose a gallery, photo or album I get nothing, the wheel just keeps spinning endlessly. I have galleries setup and pictures in them but nothing shows up. I checked the ftp server and all looks ok there, folders and pictures are in place.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Thanx and regards,
    Runar G

Thanx flipper242 but I am useing “MySQL client version: 5.0.91” so that should be ok (I think, am not a great DB expert :).

flipper242, same happens to me and I’m using PHP : 4.3.9

Does anyone know if there is another way to solve this? or I have to move to PHP 5

    Thanks!

    Hey all
Here is some good info. on php 4 vs. 5. Sounds like this may be the issue here. I had the same problem, as my host had all of my sites on a server using only php 4. They have asked me to make backups and they will switch my server to a newer one. A bit of a pain but seems to be the only solution and will most certainly be the best way to go for future plugins and releases for anything WordPress.

Having my host company switch my hosting server from one running php4 to one with php5 resolved the problem for me. Not sure what else it could be for you.

    Hi moonswolf

My problem got fixed automatically when I moved the site address URL to the root of the website. I started editing the site as indexx.php but as I finished with the basic layout I moved it to index.php and with that simple action the NextGen problem went *Puff*. Why I do not know as all my other WP sites had no problem with me useing indexx.php to start with.

Hope you get it working ??
