• I updated a client’s WordPress version to the latest version of 3.4.1 and I got a white admin screen. Front-end of website working great.

I determined the white admin screen was due to the Next Gen Plugin. I deleted it from the plugins folder and then the Admin worked just fine.

I uploaded the current version of Next-Gen 1.9.6 and activated it. Then I get the white admin screen again.

If I leave the plugin activated, the galleries work on the front end, but I can not access the back-end.

I need the Next Gen Gallery to work, the website is loaded with product gallery images throughout the website.

What could be the issue here and what do I need to do to get the WordPress admin to work with the Next-Gen Plugin also activated?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Ok, I figured it out. There was a conflict with another plugin wp-spamfree that caused the admin white screen. Weird.

But that’s ok because I am switching to re-Captcha anyways.
