[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Migrating galleries from one database to another

    I have a gallery in WP2.6.3 and I would like to move it over to a database running WP2.7
    I have moved the gallery folder to the right wordpress folder but nothing works after importing my 2.6.3 database into the 2.7 installation.

    Is there a trick to doing this? Or is it not possible? Or am I just a bit dumb and can’t figure it out.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    I think, the “NextGen Gallery for Wp2.7” will not give backward compatibility – maybe the database will cahanged?
    You can use phpmyadmin to check table structure, and image paths.
    This is my maximum knowledge, sorry.

    OK. I hope this isn’t the case… but I guess we’ll see. I tried doing this before back in WP 2.5 I think. Also no-go for it.

    Hopefully someone has a definite answer.

    You can move nggallery tables to a other database aslong as the path to the images keep the same
