[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Links to Gallery from text

I recently upgraded to WordPress 3.4.1, and Nextgen 1.9.6
I am also using CKEditor 3.6.3

I create text links on a page, and link back to a Nexgen gallery. Previously, when I added a link to text, I was given the option of choosing a gallery directly from link dialogue. Since the last Nextgen update, this option appears to have disappeared. I now have to manually enter the URL that I am linking to.

The linking I am refering to can be seen at https://www.wedding-photographer.co.za/recent-weddings/ I have made it work but had to edit the HTML rather than using the Visual editor as I normally do.
