[Plugin: NextGen Gallery] Linking to a Page

  • I dont know if im using it wrong or what. I created a gallery page with all the pics displaying from that gallery. I also created an album page that displays all the galleries within that album.

    I want to be able to click on the gallery name or preview pic and have it take you to the gallery page i created. Currently it just displays the gallery pics on the same page ( evidence by the title/description of the album page remaining )

    In the Manage Gallery function i see where you can “link to a page” I have selected the page i want it linked to but it doesnt redirect tro that page. Maybe its not its intended function? IDK.

    Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

    I don’t know if I’m taking you in the right direction, but do you need an additional plugin, say, Page Links To plugin.

    If I’m reading your post right, you want to click on a gallery, redirect to a different page you have set up?

    I want to be able to click on the preview pic from the album page and have it goto a different page where i have all of the pics for that gallery. I dont think the plugin mentioned will solve my problem. there seems to be a built in function for what i want but it isnt working so im not sure if it isnt meant for what i want or if im doing it wrong or what

    I’m not sure then if it is a function of the plugin but is not working. Did you visit the plugins authors website? I would see if they have a forum. Maybe the gallery plugin you’re using is compatible with the Version of WordPress you have. I run into compatability issues alot.
