[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Social sharing buttons on the bottom of each picture?

Hello everyone,

i worked more then 4 Years always with Joomla.
THANK GOD I HAVE TRYED WORDPRESS ??

I have one Question about nextgenGallery with Social Gallery.

The linking are going. I have a Gallery with Pictures. If i click on one Picture it open the Image 2 times. One time with nextgen Gallery and one time with the Social Gallery.

But i will just the picture view from Social Gallery and not with the nextgen view.

Can anybody help me?

Hi bugani,

The best place for Social Gallery support is always on the forum, but what your experiencing there is that you have 2 lightboxes (Social Gallery) plus another – which is loading in front of Social Gallery.

The solution for this is usually to disable “effects” in NextGen via the NextGen Gallery settings -> Effects (and switching it “none” or “custom” with a blank box below.)

… otherwise your lightbox may be built into your theme, at which point you’ll need to contact your theme creator!

Social Gallery:

OK, everyone, I took the plunge and bought the plugin NOW 25 dollars.

First thing is to run a scan of your site which finds all your images, I have multiple images per page (about 30 – 100 per post).

However it seems only to recognise the images if they are ‘LINKED’ however I have added all my images to my posts without a link. therefore the plugin does not seem to recognise my images.
….this is my fist issue, however first impressions are very good! I will be VERY curious to see how it affects the speed of the site …

Hi all – Social Gallery is currently one way to do this. Foobox is another premium product that integrates with NextGEN and offers social sharing. There are also a few free plugins that do it better or worse. For a list, please check this post on our site:

I’ll add that the we’re preparing a Pro version of the plugin (just about in beta status) that allows commenting and social sharing on individual images.
