[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Is is possible to restrict acces

  • Hi all,

    Is it possible to restrict access to the Nextgen Gallery albums?
    By either some way within NextGen itself or via User rights of WordPress itself.

    I’m using WordPress 2.5 en NextGen 2.3

  • The only way is to split your albums over several pages. A page can by restricted by a password.
    If you want to restrict access by handling different types of users (guest, friend, family, admin etc.) you have to use a gallery like Zenphoto, Gallery 2 or Coppermine. I did not find anything with all that functionality like those as a wp plugin (so far).

    ?? too bad. I really like NGG and the lack of even basic security built in is a biggie for me ??
