[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Importing an album from Picasa directly to Nextgen Gallery?

  • Hello!
    I need to import 700 (yes, seven hundred) photos from a Picasa album into a NextGen album. Is there a plugin that does that, or a NextGen native feature i haven’t found?
    I’m considering writing a Python script to download the album and then upload it manually, but i wanted to check first if there’s an easier way.

    So i wrote the script because i needed a quick solution (i’m in a tight deadline and couldn’t wait).
    Save the rss xml from Picasa in the same folder as the script and run the script and voilà, the photos will be saved to the same folder.
    I guess it only works if the owner of the photos marked the photos as downloadable.
