[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] images linking on to random/recent images

  • Hi! (and thanks for the top notch plugin!)

    When clicking on pictures inserted into posts using nextgen’s singlepic feature, the navigational arrows in the picture links on to other “random” or “most recent” pictures (depending on whether the random/recent mode is enabled in the nextgen widget).

    Similarly, after flipping through all the pictures in a given gallery, random images are added in the end.

    Users find this behavior very confusing. Is there a way to disable this and keep random/recent images out of gallery- and singlepic-views?

    All advice on how to solve this would be highly appreciated! =)

    It turns out the behavior reported above only happens with the “shutter” thumbnail effect. When instead using eg. the “lightbox” effect, the navigation is exactly as i wanted it (viz. without the linking from singlepic images to random images).
