• Hello all,

I’ve been looking around for a possible solution, and I can’t find anything anywhere, so sorry if this has been asked already, or if there is documentation on this.

I have a working gallery using ThickBox, and it works great. What I would like to do, is if JavaScript has been disabled by the browser, then I would like it to then default to the ImageBrowser. In it’s current state, if JavaScript is turned off, it just shows the image by itself only, not in the site.

If it’s not possible, that’s fine, I would just like to know either way.

    Thanks for your time =)

  • Hi,

I’m not an expert, but i think you have a pretty good idea, and that’s possible coding a bit…
In the main line, you can edit your file which display the thickBox gallery, and you test if java-script is activated with this code :

    https://www.javascriptfr.com/codes/DETECTER-SI-JAVASCRIPT-EST-ACTIVE-PHP-SESSION_43451.aspx

if JS is activated you run the Thickbox code else you run the ImageBrowser code… I think that can work ??

Ask if you need some help !

hmmm… I think I can see where you are going here, and that’s a great idea. I do have one question, because I’m not sure if I am reading this completely right. Should do do the check for javascript on the page that the gallery will reside on, the actual NextGEN plugin, or the ThickBox script itself?
