[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Image browser with multiple images per page

I’m in the process of converting a static site over to wordpress. I’d like to use NextGen to recreate the website’s photo galleries (love the UI for managing galleries), but need to figure out how to recreate the old website’s galleries which shows two separate images per page.

Is there a way to set up the nextgen image browser to show multiple images per page – each with it’s own light box effect?
