[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] How to make tags multiligual

  • I do have a problem making NextGen gallery multilingual.

    I use the latest version of qtranslate for creating multilingual content.

    Using the language shortags ([en:], [de:]) I easiliy can make the title and captions working mulitlingual, but somehow this doesn’t seem to work with the image tags. When using the shorttags here they are being deleted after pressing the button “Save changes” in Manage Gallery.

    When using multilingual tags without the shorttags I can’t take advantage of album tags [ nggtags album=WordPress,Cologne,Irland ] to display only albums with certain image tags. When doing so, it is impossible changing the language for those tags.

    So I badly need a solution for mulilingual tags.

    Does anybody know how to achieve this?

    Similar problem occurs with the gallery title, the language tags are not being parsed. The title is displayed like this: [en:]Munich[de:]München[it:]Monaco di Baviera

    So switching between languages is impossible.

    Can nextgen gallery only being using with a SINGLE language?

    Same problem with photo description and galleries descriptions.
