    Hello,
I’m trying to find a way to make the navigation look a bit less generic….I know how to change the font, the color and drop the boxes around the text. I would love to either have it look like the navigation used on the galleries or have just a back arrow and a forward arrow.
Any ideas? Links to sites that have successfully redsigned the navigation?
    Thanks,
    Carol

  • I’m looking to remove the image name and full screen buttons on the nav to just have the previous, next and image number buttons. It’s proving to be difficult though!

Hopefully we’ll get an answer soon…

First you need to edit the nextgen-gallery/view/imagebrowser.php

Look for the texts that equal the standard texts like “Back”, Next”, “Pictures” etc. Change them or remove to you liking.
    The AND#9658; – AND#9668; are the arrows.

Then you need to do a bit a CSS. Look under “Style” in your Gallery control panel (wp-admin).
Scroll down to the image browser section. There you have all kinds of styling options.
