Good morning, I tried to use the new Gutenberg editor, except that I do not like it!
But what about the Nextgen Gallery Plugin is that the new editor does not let me use the NextGallery galleries, does it work for you? How can I solve?
Another thing, when I go on manage gallery continues to update the page and remove the check on the photo or folder that I selected, and to work I have to click on the cross of my browser.
    Thank you

  • There is a NextGEN Gallery beta with a Gutenberg block. However the latest beta of Gutenberg broke the block. So the team is working on an update of the block.

I have been trying to re-build my portfolio site and the first opening page I clicked to try the new Gutenberg editor for NextGen, I cannot get my second page of thumbnails to match the first page, Is this because of the problem you mentioned above? How do I get it to translate to other pages of my site so that the galleries match? Will this be fixed? Do you have any suggestions? My site “work in progress” is LynMartinIllustration.com between this and “headway” I am pulling my hair out now.

    (@scottwyden) Thanks ..
    So will it be solved?
but with all these mistakes, because they are so many more! How will they get the only editor Gutenberg to use?
I’ve also tried using the old editor’s plugin but it makes me use the Yoast Seo window. For now I have disabled the plugins, but then when will it be final Gutenberg?
With all these mistakes, what will I do?
But it was so simple and effective, I do not understand why they have to complicate life!
Sorry for the Google translation! : D

Yes it will be solved. The Gutenberg code changed a good 10 or more times prior, making us having to revamp the NextGEN Gallery Block. 10 times even before we released the block as a beta.

So we suspect this will continue until Gutenberg becomes the new default editor. When that happens, code will stop being drastically changed.

    Thank you.
Let’s hope! Because this way you can not work.
Comunnque have to work a lot again. They have to avoid too many steps and too many text windows etc.
Next Gallery is the best image plugin, it’s impossible to work without! ??
    Thank you

thanks, Scott, for some reason it seems like when my site went down a few weeks ago, it has been one thing or another preventing from getting back on top of it, it is hard to not think that it’s my own short comings, I will be patient. I am an artist not a tech designer.

I use version 3.0.6. Do I understand correctly that the Gutenberg block is not included in this version yet? If the beta is successfully completed, there is a regular update for it, right?

Thank you for your work! Claudio

It’s not inside of NGG yet. It’s a beta. That’s because Gutenberg isn’t stable enough to include the block inside of NGG. Once it is, we will include it. Until then, the beta is available at https://www.imagely.com/gutenberg-block.

Note that the latest Gutenberg update broke the block, but we’re working on updating it to work again.

Thanks for the quick answer! ??

    Hi @scottwyden,
    I have another problem:
Yesterday after the new update of the plugin I have this new problem with my site:
There are not any miniature images, but there are photos in the gallery but there are many windows without pictures with the name of the tag of the image.
I think it’s a problem of uploads because if I put a gallery with the photos already uploaded before does not create problems and you can see well, while if I upload new photos upload them without the stamp of the preview image.
I hope I have described the problem well.
For now I had to put another plugin to not leave the post without photos.
In this link you can see the error, see below the gallery of the other plugin:

Thanks, I hope you can help me.

I have a site using nextgen gallery and from time to time i get a white screen error with the text I include below.
The site where the error shows is elenabacchini.com. My provider is InMotion.com.
I had the error with wordpress 4.x and the problem appeared only when passing from a page of the thumbnails to the next, so I upgraded to 5.2, but the problem now appears in a random way. In particular if I go back and forth from thumbnails to slideshow.

I attach the site settings after the error message

    Can something be done ??
