[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Gallery Thumbnail

    How can I set the main thumbnail for a gallery? I’m currently sorting the images in a gallery using the “Custom Order” option, but that does not seem to have any effect on which thumbnail is shown for the main image..

    Thanks, When I go to
    Gallery > Options > Gallery tab I already have the “Sort thumbnails:” set to “Custom Order”

    Then when I go back to the Gallery > Manage Gallery > Select a Gallery > click on the “Sort Gallery” button… no matter which image I put in the first position it does not use that thumbnail for the main gallery.

    I’m using the short code [album id=1 template=extend] on my page to show the galleries.. does that have any impact on which thumbnail is used for the main image?

    I guess it was right there under my nose.. duuurrrhhh. Here’s how to set the “main thumbnail image” for a gallery:

    Gallery > Manage Gallery > Select a Gallery > under the “Gallery settings (Click here for more settings)” >Look for the drop-down titled “Preview image:”

    It would be a good idea if you marked this “resolved” (see the select box in the right hand sidebar).
