[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Gallery images not openning up correctly

  • Not sure how to describe this problem, but when I click on the thumbmails, they do not open correctly unless the gallery effect is set to Thickbox,… if the thumbmail effect is set to anything else the images open in their own window, but with navigation buttons. Things work with the Thickbox, but I don’t like the framing on the images.

    I tried installing NexGen on another blog I own, and it works correctly, the only difference is I deleted the first Gallery,…

    Any ideas

  • I think my problem is related..

    Every thing seems to be working except that the thumbnails don’t open correctly.

    If I click on a gallery.. that opens ok.. but then when I click on a thumbnail..it opens alone in the same page.

    Slideshows work ok.

    Everything used to work fine..but I just upgraded to the new version and can’t get it to work. Help!

    This sounds like my exact problem. I can thinbox style and it works correctly, but if I change the style it image just opens in a browser page, with navigation buttons. I think I may just throw some money at the coder so he to get his interest. I really like the NextGen, very simple and easy to use. Worth supportiing, have to wait will.

    I installed another blog of mine and it is working fine, thought to upgrade, but it didn’t fix the problem,…

    I can’t get thick to work, but shutter works for me. It’s really weird ><

    I love the nextgen gallery aswell, easy and its quite cool too ;D I don’t know whats missing in the code somewhere that’s stopping the styles to work tho. Unless they’re meant to act like that?

    Well I love the NextGen Gallery Plugin. Just got my site all rebuilt, 133 galleries, 107 of them of shipwrecks in the Great Lakes, over 3300 pictures,

    It is a great plug-in and I finally got so money in, so I will help out the author and hopefully a little money will get him to solve this little problem of ours.
