  • Just to support jeansienkin’s request. I make free websites for charities and local non-profit organisations and your plugin is generally the first one I install. It’s a fantastic plugin and I couldn’t do without it, but I’d love to get my sites fully working on iPhone and iPad. Obviously I need to dump Jerome’s slideshow plugin. The jQuery Cycle has all the necessary features. I just wish I had the coding skills to integrate it with NextGen Gallery. I hope you’ll consider it or something like it.
Thanks for a your great work.

I will keep it on my list

Yes please. I use nextgen for both my sites and I really need it to work on the iPad. Will this be possible soon? Or I’ll have to switch to another option. Thanks so much for the best plugin. Neil

Same issue – the ‘iPad effect’ requiring flash removal . . .

The wp-cycle plugin works as a simple replacement, but each image needs to be uploaded by the plugin.

Although superslider-show claims to be nextGEN compatible, I have not been able to get it to work, and the documentation is confusing and lacking.

Another vote for a no-flash option in nextGen~

As I have now a iPad I’m also need a flash replacement. So you can expect in the next version a update with the Cycle script

Awesome! That’s going to be super handy.

Can’t seem to get the slideshow to work with the script. Only works through Flash. ??

Using NextGen v1.7.2 with WordPress v3.0.3
