[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Effect not working, thumbnails link to image

can’t help without a link. Anyway switch to the default theme and check it there, disable all other plugins for a test

I’ll try switching to the default theme, but I’m pretty sure it will work then.

OK, I activated the default theme and it doesn’t work

I’m having this same problem.

Make sure you install the lightbox, highslide et.al. plugins and try again. After I did that, things worked better. Still not perfect; the transition effects are not working, but at least I don’t go to a new page to see the image.

Thanks, I’ll try installing them. I’m just trying the default effect – i believe its included.

I’ll post back after lightbox install.
