[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Display random assortment of pics from all galleries in an album

Hi there

I am busy working on a tourism website that consists of (among other sections) several tours which are associated with destinations. Each tour has its own Nextgen gallery and I want to pull this info on the Destination detail page in the form of a random selection of all images from all the tours.

I have currently set up an album to contain all the respective tour galleries but can’t seem to achieve the result I am looking for.

I do not want it to do the standard list of galleries that the [album] tag does. I need it to create a “palette” of images from the galleries within that album. When the user clicks on one of the thumbnails, it opens the larger representation in a lightbox. I will create a link at the bottom of the “palette” to take the viewer to the album page where it lists all the galleries.

Please could you let me know if it is possible to get the result I am looking for, and if so, how would I go about doing it?
