Problem: While clicking on an image that has an assigned description through NextGen Gallery the description of the image is promptly/correctly placed in the Lightbox 2 popup underneath the image. However, and this is the problem, when click/viewing an image that does not have a description assigned to it by NextGen Gallery the Lightbox 2 popup uses a description from a previous image (the last image that used an assigned description) and applies it to the current image.

My current work around, though troublesome IMO, was to add a description to every single image stored in NextGen Gallery. However, I would prefer not to use this method and have a blank space for the description rather than some kind of text to fix this problem when no description at all is my intent.

I am using WordPress 2.5.1 with the following plugins installed for my images/photos:

    – NextGen Gallery ver. 0.97
    – Lightbox 2 ver. 1.8.2

I’ve just recently started using Lightbox 2 plugin today and have been using it in conjunction with NextGen Gallery which I’ve been using for quite some time now with it’s Thickbox effect. Descriptions continue to work as intended through Thickbox.

Any thoughts on what is causing this problem or how to fix it?
