[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] description and alt tags on import

  • I’m uploading my pictures using FTP then ‘import image folder’ but when I do so the description and alt tags are empty – is it possible to auto-populate these with exif information (ie filename/date, etc)?

  • you can only import a description, title field from exif etc. if they will be found , then the plugin will auto-populate them into the description field

    hmm – the only exif information from my Sony DSC-T7 is

    Aperture F 4
Date/Time May 3, 2008 12:59 pm
Focal length 10.29 mm
ISO 320
Shutter speed 1/50 sec
Camera DSC-T7
Make SONY

    Could I tweak your script somewhere to change it to Date/Time for example? Where would I need to look?
