[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Configure GalleryView to use NextGen thumbnails?

Is there a way to configure the GalleryView extension to use the custom thumbnails in NextGen Gallery? I don’t see any options to choose this, as GalleryView naturally shrinks the image rather than pull the thumbnail. Any way to hack the thumbnail source??
