[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Calling NextGen functions from PHP, not WP tags

    I’m trying to include some of the NextGEN functionality in the Sidebar component. I’ve tried <?php nggShowAlbum(1, “extend”); ?> but i get nothing, even though if (function_exists(‘nggShowAlbum’)) yields TRUE. What can i do to get around this?
