[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Bug in wysiwyg dialog to insert gallery/album/ etc.?

Did you solve the problem with the wysiwyg tool ?
I have the same problem, the wheel kept spinning forever and I did not find anything about this in the forum.
When I first try NextGEN Gallery everything worked fine, but since I upgraded the 3.0.4 from the 3.0.1 version, this tool doesn’t work anymore.

Hi – No unfortunately I have had no response to this one. It’s frustrating! Thanks for searching the forum for other help with this. Hopefully someone will address the question.

having the same problem after updating

I have the same problem. If I try to load a gallery / album / images with the pop up menu in the admin page editor, the system will stay running when I try to select a gallery or an album in the drop down list (I can even not open the drop down list, because the mouse is deactivated when moving on this menu point). I just moved my website from another hoster. On the old site, the wysiwyg pop up menu worked perfectly, on the new site, it does not work anymore. Is there maybe a link to php options or other preferences of the server ?

When I insert an image by using the traditional WP menu °insert image”, I can select images from a next gen gallery without problem: here, the selection of the gallery is possible.

I would appreciate your comments and your help !

thanks for the very interesting information. But it does not help me to fix the bug. I am using php >5, here are me server settings. Can you see a critical point, which has to be changed ? As I mentioned in an earlier post, on my old website (with a different hoster) the drop down list worked perfectiy, so I have the impression, it might have to do with the server settings.

I thought that I had deactivated all other plugins .. I will try it again

ok, deleted all plugins, re installed one by one but I am still get the same problem of the spinning wheel and cannot open the drop down list, because the mouse is deactivated when moving on this menu point

Switch for a test also the default theme and recheck the behaviour

and I got no error message, but just the home of my website. I changend then the theme from weaver to WordPress default 1.6 theme, but the pop up menu still does not work properly.

I just updated to WordPress 3.04 and now the drop down from the wysiwyg works. This is the only thing I did and mysteriously now it works!

However, I still don’t get the Shadowbox player when I click a thumbnail. I can’t figure out what is different on this page:
