[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Browser problems with NextGen Gallery

  • Having alignment, loading and functional issues with new site.
    Using WordPress 2.7.1

    Browser: IE 7 + 8 on PC
    Issue: NextGen Gallery loads only first image of slideshow and nothing else. It stacks them vertically instead of the desired, and programmed, horizontal but one cannot scroll down either.

    I am the website owner, not creator (excuse any language errors ?? ). My designer says they cannot replicate this situation and thus are having hard time fixing it. If anyone has any help on this which I can forward to them I would greatly appreciate it.

  • Having the same issue…working on a portfolio site locally, testing on Firefox,Google Chrome, Safari and IE 8.
    I found this post on NextGen’s forum:

    It suggested this: “You need to write a page and insert the tag. Now go to the Gallery in ‘Manage gallery’ and have a look at the right side at ‘Page Link to’. Define here the page of your gallery, not (!) your album page.”

    I’ve done this…but to no avail. The only thing I can think of is that I had recently updated my NextGen version from 1.3.4 to 1.3.5.

    If anyone has some deeper insight, I’d greatly appreciate it too.
