[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Backup/Restore Settings feature request

I’m exploring NextGen Gallery, and find it an excellent plugin.

Feature request: Backup/Restore Settings. I see that one can backup the database, which includes the specified nextgen tables. However, an easier way to backup settings, and a way to restore (esp. to a new installation of WP) would be most helpful. Thanks.
