[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Albums within albums

Hi, I have a structure that requires me to have sub albums in an album. The adding of sub albums into an album is easy but I realize albums do not have a thumbnail tag to it. I was trying to get the thumbnail of the first gallery in the sub album to display as the thumbnail instead but the coding part is beyond me.
Is there anyone who has encountered and solved this problem? Thanks in advance!
