[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Albums?

    Hi there,

    I have a bunch of wedding photos that I’d like to place in different galleries, one gallery per wedding. But, I would like to show ALL my wedding photos as an “album” meaning “a bunch of galleries?” Can’t seem to find the purpose of Albums…is there code for including an album on a page, or is that just a backend feature for keeping groups of galleries together?

  • Albums use shortcodes, just like galleries. Two examples:

    [album id=1]

    or…

    [album id=1 template=compact]

    depending on whether you are using a custom template to display the album. Templates can be found in nextgen-gallery/view.

    NGG is a great plugin, but at this time, there is really no
    comprehensive documentation.

    Thank you, j_h. Exactly what i needed, and yes, documentation has been scarce, but this is a great plugin and is really flexible.
