[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Album display w/ WhiteHousePro doesn't work

Instead of opening the album supbage, clicking on an album reloads the page, with this appendix to the URL:

?album=1&gallery=4

However, on this reloaded page, the album is no longer displayed (but all other content is…)

Checking “The album will not link to a gallery subpage. The gallery is shown on the same page.” removes the appendix from the album URL, resulting in the page reloading with nothing happening at all…

This might be related to the theme used, WhiteHousePro, but I am totally at a loss on where to start looking on how this problem is created…

Note: NextGem doesn’t actually create any new pages (or actually link to one), which it should (or shouldn’t?) – documentation on this is confusing to say the least, compare here and the official documentation
