Ok so the gallery view addon helps a little with the “previous | next”, but still can anyone give me hand in creating a navigation menu through albums side by side with the image display?

So from what I’ve searched, maybe using some jquery+AJAX – load function – I could load external content (in this case for example a slideshow or something else) into a div in the page where’s the album+gallery list.

Uff… can someone help me with what functions and php should I search in ngg to add this?

I can’t but I bet the developer can. Developers don’t always pickup on the WordPress forums. Visit his site and leave him a message there. Maybe even put in a feature request.

Thanks. I’ve tried already the load function, and almost worked but some script problems made me, for now, use tabs to achieve the effect I want.

But I will send him a mail!

Thinking about it, there are a few plugins for NextGen. I think one of them does what you’re trying to do, or very nearly does it. Search “Dashboard > Plugins > Add New” for “NextGen Gallery”. You’ll find some good ones there.
