• Hi All,

I am a happily using NextGen Gallery for my website, however I find it very time consuming to add multiple images to a post at a given time. For example I want to hand pick certain images to be thumbnails but to do so, I have to keep repeating this process..

Add an Image > NextGen Gallery > Select a gallery from dropdown > Select > Click on image > Thumbnail > Insert into Post

That’s 7 clicks every time I want to add a thumbnail! Which is pretty time consuming when you want to add 12 or more per post.

I was wondering if there was a way to keep the pop up window open when you click on “Insert into Post”? That way I can easily add multiple images and just use the [X] button on the top right to close the pop up.

Any help would be immensely helpful, even some pointers as to what bit of code I would have to edit.

    Many thanks!

  • A way that might be slightly faster, is to have your post open in one tab on your browser, and be browsing the gallery in another tab. Then use the short-code in the post (i.e. [singlepic id=2591 w=150 float=left]) and just have a bunch of those set up, ready to punch in the id that your getting from the id number for each picture located to the left of the pictures on the Manage Gallery page. Copy/paste so you have a bunch ready for the id to be changed…

    [singlepic id=1 w=150 float=left]
    [singlepic id=2 w=150 float=right]
    [singlepic id=3 w=150 float=left]
    [singlepic id=4 w=150 float=right]

may someone work out the solution :S ?
