[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Adding gallery links to a page

  • How do a link my galleries to a page? I wanted to make a page called Gallery Pics and have a link on the home page header, so I got that far. I was thinking that I could then put a list of the Galleries in the Gallery Pics page. I couldn’t figure out how to accomplish this.

    Is there a way to do this or another way to display the Galleries?

  • Didn’t get the point… Could you explain it a bit more ? Do you want to link form the album to a gallery page ?

    I wanted to have a have a list of all the galleries on one page.

    After messing around with NextGEN more I have found that I can’t upload more than one image at a time. This wont work for me. I need to batch upload so I suppose NextGEN is not what I was looking for.

    Switch to flash batch upload or use the zip-upload. If this isn’t what you want, try the wordpress core gallery, It’s also a very good solution…

    Actually, I’m pretty sure that NextGEN does have a batch uploader, you can batch upload images as a .zip file, be sure to have specified the gallery they’re going into.

    Also, in the manage gallery tab in your admin screen (sidebar): you should see an option to allow a direct link for the gallery.

    I think its fully capable of doing what you want, hope that helps.
