  • The instructions are right there on the Watermark options tab:

“You can upload more fonts in the folder nggallery/fonts “

When you upload fonts, they will appear in the dropdown choices.

Caution: if you are using a non web standard font, not everyone will be able to see it and the font will revert to the default.
There are multiple ways around that, but require using either a plugin like Google Fonts or using the @font face technique.

You can always create an image with your fontstyle and just use that and choose “Use image as watermark” choice on the Watermark tab.

Excuse what may be seen as a non techy question.
    Where/how do I find the nggallery/fonts folder?

Do I get to it via ftp (instructions needed here please) or via the WordPress dashboard?

    I am using a Mac.

    Thanks

    Stephen

I haven’t ever done this but will take a stab at the answer. I would recommend trying to find a folder called “wp-content” on your desktop or in Dreamweaver/other FTP client. Inside are “themes”, but don’t click that. Instead, there will also be a folder called “plugins”. Click plugins, then “nextgen-gallery”. Fonts should be inside?

“You can upload more fonts in the folder nggallery/fonts “

How exactly do you do this? I can’t find any nggallery/fonts folder. It’s this basic stuff that no one can seems to help. I guess it’s so basic advanced users can’t understand how someone can’t figure it out. I just need step by step instructions on this simple task but can’t find them anywhere. Well, I’ve spent an hour trying and have given up…which seems to be normal when I’m trying to figure anything out in WordPress. Man is this frustrating.
