I’m working on a NextGen Gallery hack that will allow me to link thumbnail images in the gallery to actual pages or files (in my case, video files hosted on my server).

    Have posted about this here:

Going to use the NextGen Custom Fields plugin to add a link associated with each thumbnail and modify NG to call up that address/file instead of the full-size image when clicked. But I already have a standard installation of NG Gallery to cover my regular image galleries.

Is it possible to install a second instance of NG that I can modify without disturbing the first one? Any special tricks to this? Any help would be greatly appreciated…
