    Hello,

Iam working with this problem since the whole day and now i have to give up. I just changed the webhoster but didn’t have any problems getting the wp site back.
But when i wanted to upload a picture it just said “0 Images were uploaded” and no image appeared in that gallery. However, i tried different pictures which i had uploaded successfull before, but same thing, also in other galleries.

So i googled and tried all those different kind of solutions that were suggested:

    – change permalink to postname and clear cache
    – deactivate all plugins and try to upload just with next gen plugin activated
    – set whole gallery folder to 777 permission
    – set default template in wp
    – update newest Next Gen version
    – update to newest wp version
    – create a new gallery and try upload there

but none of them worked for me.
so i have no clue what i could try now, i didn’t reinstall NextGen yet since iam afraid that all the galleries and images could be gone, with such a fresh installation.

is there anything else besides the whole gallery folder that should have special premissions? I could only think of that.

    I got it solved now.
At first i tried to change the upload path to wp-content/uploads, but this didn’t help. In the end there was missing a tmp folder on the server which i created and set the right permission. Now i was able to upload pictures again.
