[Plugin: NextGEN Custom Fields] nggcf_get_gallery_field doesn’t work for me

Hi, NextGEN Custom Fields is exactly what I need, but I have a problem with it. I would be glad if somebody could help.

I want to display some basic information about galleries in an album (just below the thumbnails). This information is stored in Custom Fields of course ?? The album is inserted into a post. I added nggcf_get_gallery_field function into album-compact.php file, in the same way as read-me file suggested, BUT id does not display the values.

Let me mention another issue, which may correlate with the above one. When I filled out CFs in “Manage Gallery” and I saved it, then “Custom Fields” section dismisses. It doesn’t come up again. Hence I can’t modify values afterwards.

NB: I use up-to-date version of NextGen and NGG CFs too.
