[Plugin: News Bar Plus] missing tags, broken TinyMCE editor, tag at bottom of page

Loved the plugin, very beautiful. But bad code makes w3c editor whine. Missing div tag throws off all my code. The insertion of the newsbar within the footer section also problematic because of the <style> tag. It causes the TinyMCE editor to only show a white, uneditable screen in “visual” mode, although you can see what you have typed in “html” mode. Lastly, and most recently, news items cannot now be updated; I can click ‘update’, but the text remains the same. Although qTranslate renders this program correctly in letting me have both languages for header and body of text, only one language is displayed. Not blaming you for that one though; qtranslate is a picky plugin.
