Hi Alma,
Thank you for the remarks.
As demonstrated via live screen share share session, that when Discounting was set to 20% and campaign as ON , it set SALES PRICE as per campaign value.
When campaign was deactivated, that amount was gone. If Sale Price is set locally that would reflect as Finale does not change any keys in database , it just applies discount dynamically.
When we audited the site and found an old plugin (which hasn’t been updated for 2 years) which would alter the sale price:
1) Gave snapshot of the exact line of code
2) Found and shared a review where user of that plugin also complained about similar issue.
In last one week we have reviewed each and every line of code again and I can responsibly say that we don’t modify sales price fields at all. Finale applies discount dynamically on the fly.
Also for over 1000+ LITE users and over 300+ paid users , if a bug of this nature would have been present it would have long detected and corrected. So it’s an isolated issue.
We take critical feedback very seriously.
Anyone who reads this thread and is able to replicate and demonstrate the issue, should write to us at [email protected]. As a part of “thank-you” gesture we would offer a lifetime license to our plugin ( worth $129) for free.
Thanks
Daman Jeet
