    I’ll try to take a look at this tomorrow and get things updated. Thanks for the report and for the potential solution.

    My BuddyPress related issue is that Network Privacy protects everything except groups. If someone has a direct link to a group, they can circumvent privacy and view that group – as well as any widgets and menu items.

    BuddyPress has its own options for making Groups private.

    Have you marked the group as visible to members only in the group settings?

    Simon – I’m sorry, I suck. I added the patch you linked into the development version a while back, but forgot to post back to let you know.

    Would you mind testing the dev version to see if it works for you? Thanks.

    infobydesign – Just to make sure you’re not finding the same bug that Simon pointed out, can you test the dev version, too?

    Also, Andrea makes a very good point. As far as groups go, their privacy should be set within your BuddyPress configuration. Thanks.
