    Me again ??

OK, this is *almost* the best plugin for cross network publishing of recent posts. I still have a couple hangups ??

I’m realizing that the date thing is a common problem, because I’m running into with an RSS feed parser, so I’ll cross that one off the list.

Still on my list is the previously mentioned bug concerning the excerpts showing up when pagination is active even when titleonly=true.

New on my list, whereas I find this idea of paginating individual blogs pretty cool, it would be much more practical for users in my mind – and ultimately for blog owners – if the posts could be sorted strictly by date. That is to say that the blogs wouldn’t be grouped together as they are now, but only adhere to chronology.

    So instead of:
    – blog2 news1 june 1, 2012
    – blog2 news2 january 30, 2012
    – blog1 news1 may 30, 2012

    I’d like:
    – blog2 news1 june 1, 2012
    – blog1 news1 may 30, 2012
    – blog2 news2 january 30, 2012

And then limit the amount of TOTAL posts, instead of the number of posts per blog.

    What d’ya think?

    Re :)…

Wow, you’re killing me haha.. I remember your request, it’s been on my list of TODOs for quite a while, but I haven’t been able to do it yet. It’s quite difficult to do because of the way the query is done, I’ve been thinking how to do it so it doesn’t break the actual functionality but shamefully I’ve been too busy to dedicate myself to solve it :)..

Be sure I’m keeping this in mind, as soon as I get the time to rethink the hole thing I’ll give it a try, don’t lose your faith haha :P..

    Thanks for your feedback.

Heehee, sorry, don’t mean to be a pain in the *ss. Did I already mention this one before? Anyway, not losing faith by any means, and only being so adamant because I think this is such a great plugin ??

Whole* ops typo :)… Anyway, you’re not being a pain at all, actually thanks to the great feedback all of you have been giving me, NLP is what it is now.. I wish I had more free time to improve it, but well in few months I’ll get my master’s degree and hopefully some time to add new features.

Thanks again for your feedback, cheers!

    Hello Jenny,

Just keeping you posted about this subject, I finished my internship so I have more time to code, I’ve completely rewritten network latest posts to use WordPress hooks instead of those hacky, buggy and nasty workarounds which made almost impossible to maintain and improve the plugin.

I’m glad to inform you that both requests have been fulfilled ;)… The version 3 will contain a lot of improvements and new functionalities. I got rid of some unnecessary parameters, renamed a few ones and added some others to improve the performance, and give users more control.

The next release will be full of surprises.

    Cheers.
