• I thought this was the do-it-all SEO plugin, but it’s definitely not. There are some things that it can’t do that really need to be options for SEO folks:

    1. Why does everything have to be noindex, follow? Maybe I want to make my archives noindex, nofollow. That should be an option.

    2. There is not enough granular control of canonical URLs. For example, maybe everyone and their grandmother is using the post URL for the canonical URL, but I want to have the canonical URL for all my archive pages for the home page point to the main site.

For example, I would want the canonical URL for https://www.mysite.com/page/2 to point to https://www.mysite.com. Right now, it just defaults it to https://www.mysite.com/page/2. Why is there no option to change that? And on top of that, it should let you choose how you want the canonical URLs per section (categories, date archives, author archives, etc).

Great plugin, but could use some more SEO stuff in my opinion.
