• Ok first off I hope im posting in the right spot if not I’m very sorry this is my first post here.

Now this is my problem I’m building a wordpress website for a local music group and instead of all the blog posts going to the blog page I want to separate them even if I have to re post what I already have posted Im fine with that.

For instance My home page is a static page and then I have a blog tab and so on

    Home | Blog | Mastermind | Yung Hogg | Gary B | Contact |

I want to make separate posts per page so lets say I want to post something about mastermind it all goes to the mastermind menu tab/page and post for yung hogg will go to the yung hogg menu tab/page so on and so forth.

Iv searched google and seen a lot of different ways, plugins and widgets that do this but it all requires some type of coding and I’m a designer not a coder

Please any help would be highly appreciated as iv been needing to get this site done for a while now and cant figure it out

  • You don’t need plugins for this. You jsut need to set up the standard menus. The menus let you add a cateogry to them, so you can set up menu links for each category and they will show the posts that are associated with those categories.

what exactly do you mean by standard menus? the only way to change the name of the menu bar buttons is to make a custom menu. not to sound stupid but I don’t think I understand what you mean by standard menus..

ans thanks for your help ??

Sorry, but I did mean the “custom” menus. I always think of them as standard becaause that’s what’s built into the system.
