I often publish long articles that are easier to read if they are split into subpages. I often use WP code to divite pages into parts: <!–nextpage–>
I tried to create a custom shortcode (ie. [next] ) with your plugin that would generate <!-nextpage–> in place of it but it didn’t work out.
Any hint, please?

you cant really do that with a shortcode as WordPress only processes shortcodes after it process the <!–nextpage–> which means by the time the shortcode is rendered, the time to place the next code has long gone.
