[Plugin: My Category Order] Exclude Tree does not work

The “Exclude Tree” option in the My Category Order widget simply doesn’t do anything. If I put the ID of any category in that box (with no other include/exclude options set) – it makes no difference to the output. I tried it as a comma-separated list, a single integer, a string of values.. no result.
The other options (include, exclude, child of) seem to work as expected.
