I have seen that I can change the bandcamp widget embed code in the code. But is it possible to have the background of the bandcamp widget transparent by default?

That’s a good idea. I’m working on an update and i’ll make the widget transparent by default, should be out fairly soon.

To make it appear on the right you’d have to add something like this to your style.css file:

#album-cover-container{width:350px; float:left;}

.music-player{width:400px; float:left;}

#album-description{clear:both;}

But it depends alot on your theme (especially the width of the page)
