    Hi,

I just want to check the default behavior for this plugin. On the plugin page, the author wrote

You no longer need to manually add new users to each of your sites.

I assume that means when a new user is registered, it will be visible and accessible at all sub-sites, correct? Well, originally, I have two sites in the same network, and when I installed the plugin, the user database automatically updates (to be the same as that of the primary site; I didn’t have any users at the secondary site at the time).

Now, I have two situations to deal with:
1- A new registration is made at my secondary site today, but it didn’t show up in the list of users, not at the secondary site or the primary site. So, I want to know where did this piece of information go? It certain didn’t exist at the database either.

2- I created another secondary site today, and when I created it, I did “assume” that it’s going to use the same user list as that of the primary and the other secondary site. But I was wrong. It just have one admin account that I created when creating the site. How can I update the site so it has the as user list?

    Regards,
    Angela

I just checked into my primary site, all of the users that doesn’t have any posts/pages written by them have disappeared from the user list. However, they still remain in the database as well as show up in the brief “user list” of the primary site (in network admin, under Sites).
Any ideas what could go wrong?

I’m currently using another plugin, Import user from CSV, that I think might have conflicted with this plugin. I have disabled that one (as all the sites share a single database and it keeps telling me that I already have imported these users), and I still have the user list in the database.
I have deactivate and then reactivate ‘Multisite User Management’ plugin, but the user list is still empty. What should I do to refresh it and then propagate the users to all sites in the network?

I really need help. My site is not running correctly now, and I’m having issue letting my users sign in. I wonder why did every site in the network don’t have their own user database.

Go to the Multisite User Management section of the network settings page, found at https://example.com/wp-admin/network/settings.php.

    1. Change the default role for every site listed (even if the role is set to the role you want for that site, change it just for now). Every role must be different.
    2. Save the settings.
    3. If any of the roles are set to something other than the role you want, change the role to the one you want.
    4. Save the settings.

All users in your database should now be assigned a role for all sites.

Right, but they are not. That’s the issue. The original authors still have their roles on, and the users are not propagated across the different sites in the network.

    Angela
