Yes I know this and it will be corrected quickly. There was no issue submitted so I made this for not forgetting it: https://github.com/lloc/Multisite-Language-Switcher/issues/30

The development version has already a solution for this issue.

Oh, I’m just writing about this.
In my spanish site it shows:
Esta entrada está también disponible en English.
Indeed, for the english visitors, it should show:
This post is also available in English.
(and the reverse is true, also)

I think this is a point of view. What do you do if you have more then 2 websites in different languages. I know that the current solution is not optimal … it’s great that you share your ideas.

You can of course create your own filter for ‘the_content’ which returns what you want to show. Please read on here: https://github.com/lloc/Multisite-Language-Switcher/wiki/Get-the-current-language

What I want to say, is that if there is an english translation, it should say: “This post is also available in English” regardless of the post’s language (and the system language of the visitor), so if an english speaker visit the site, he can understand the message, (as it’s for him, not for the spanish speakers visitors).
Maybe it is not very important with english, but if you find a post in ukrainian, you will not understand de ukrainian equivalent to “This post is also available in English”, what makes it useless.
I understand the problem with more than 2 languages… maybe this is the situation where the visitor’s system language detection could be usefull. Or a configurable prefered language selection.
I’ll continue studying the behavior of your plugin, is very complex and interesting. Thanks.

    Yes, for sure.

I try to keep the plugin as simple as possible. This is also the reason why I don’t use JavaScript here for example.

But this is a very interesting hint anyway.
